Three Rivers Chorus

Friday evening, November 14, 7:30p.m. 181 Appleton Street, Arlington, MA. Repertoire includes the East coast premiere of Eric Tamm's Kyrie; a setting by Ellen Oak of Alla Bozarth Campbell's Bakerwoman God; Canite Tuba by Palestrina, and Shaker and Celtic pieces. Award winning artist, Janet McKenzie will be there and her painting, Jesus of the People, as well as other works, will be on display. Woven into the evening will be mystical poetry of the Middle East read by scholar, Georgia Travers. RSVP appreciated, registration not required. No fee, donations welcome. Saturday, 9:45a.m. to noon, November 15, Houghton Chapel, Wellesley College, 106 Central Street, Wellesley. The chorus will sing to open and close The Way of the Cross: In and Out of Our Lives, a presentation by Joan Chittister and Janet McKenzie, sponsored by Sacred Threads and Bethany House of Prayer.

Friday, December 5, 5:00 and 6:00p.m. Celebrate the season with music from Christmas, Solstice, Hannukah and Kwanzaa traditions. St. John's Chapel, Episcopal Divinity School, 99 Brattle Street, Cambridge. Part of the Holiday Open House offered in collaboration with Longfellow House. 

Wednesday, December 17, 7:00p.m. Guest artists for Contemplative Eucharist at Bethany House of Prayer, 181 Appleton Street, Arlington, MA. The chorus offers several pieces, giving voice to the quiet beauty of these evenings filled with candlelight, poetry, good company, and peace.
